Objectives
Our objective for 77 H Street was to design four point supported canopies—three at street level, and one L-shaped canopy at the pool level on the fourth floor.
Approach
Bellwether coordinated closely with the steel fabricator to develop point supported canopies for retail customers, as well as a 130-foot long canopy surrounding the pool as an architectural accent.
Results
The canopies at retail level provide coverage from both rain and glare, while the pool canopy provides a stylish accent to this active common area.
